Well its been a few days ...

I spent the weekend up at Master's. We hardly left the flat we just bummed around, played games, read weird ebooks and hung out together. It was the greatest.

Its my birthday in a week ... 20!! It feels so old, gotta live up this teenage thing for the next week!

Anyywho, I think I'm gunna head to bed ... I've got LATIN @ 10am so I've gotta get my sleeeeep!!

Will try and update when interesting stuff happens, which is not really that often.

Oh, I'm stage manager for a theatre show here over the next week so if I dont blog at nights, it'll be because I'm there. In charge. But with no internets.

* Keri *

Keri comes from the same sort of upbringing as me. A small town girl, she is making the most of life by becoming a teacher. We all know that those who cant do, teach.

Anyway, Keri is a pretty rad kinda person. Shes got kitch in all the right things. She used to be my next door neighbour, but then she got a new house so we moved too, further away. She loves to visit my parents late at night in her pjs.

She makes a wicked cake thing. Because I posted this, I am hoping she will make me some.

Thats all I have to say about that.

Well, seeing as I just figured out how to post pictures (LOL), here are the pictures from the hair dying debacle!! The preparation or "strand test", the blonding and then the ultra sexy colour!! Enjoy!

* Life *

So, I've spent the last hour or so at Uni trying to figure out what I want to do with my life, and how I'm going to structure my degree.

I've been doing Theatre as my major, but I think its something that is going to be hard to find jobs in, or find jobs that pay the bills with! Due to my love of Latin I've been thinking about a Classics degree, but then I was thinking, maybe its the fact that Latin is a language, hence why I enjoy it so much.

So the final decision is:

A double major in Classics and Linguistics with a minor in Theatre.

A bit of a mouthful, and its going to take me at least another 4 years at Uni to get it done, but it'll be so worth it ... at the moment, I'm thinking my dream job is working as a tour guide in Europe somewhere ... anywhere!

But it's going to take a bit of juggling the next few years to fit everything in without clashes and the likes ... where there's a will, theres a way.

Weekend is over!!

The hair-dying experience was far less than traumatising =] in fact i quite enjoyed it!! xD

It turned out pretty good, the colour ran a bit in the fringe but it looks good anyway =]

Family get together tonight, I'm not sure whether to be excited or not, but first meeting the guys for a wee band get together this afternoon which should be well fun!

* Capping Show *

WOOOO!!!!

I went to Capping Show last night (a show that students from the uni put on which aims to insult every type of people) and it was so goddamn hilarious that I'm still getting a good giggle from it!!

The main story was a version of GHOSTBUSTERS played out at the University, but there were a whole lot of take offs of TV ads, little skits, boys in tutu's doing a ballet and a sextet of guys who could REALLY SING!

I'm still buzzing, it was so great ... count me in next year!!

Alright, so its a dead language and no one speaks it any more, but I dont understand why more people don't study Latin!!

I'm in my tenth week of lectures and LOVING every second of it ... latin can just be so much more beautiful and expressive than the bastardisation we call English.

So I am to leave a little gem of wisdom, a famous quote in Latin, or just something that amuses me at the end of my *hopefully* everyday posts ...
